Welcome.  My name is Toya Johnson and I will be teaching 6^th and 7^th grade English and 5^th grade Social Studies.  This is my second year at PSP CISD and I am very excited to be here again this year.  I enjoy teaching and interacting with students and I try to have as much fun as possible.  As I am originially from the midwest, Columbus, Ohio, to be exact, I may speak a little too fast for some of you West Texas folk but I will try my best to be understood.  Like the saying goes...I wasn’t born in Texas but I got here as fast as I could.  

I will be passing out a class syllabus to my students in the coming days which will outline some information about my classroom rules.
